Society of New Communications Research Symposium & Awards

I'm quite honored to be an Advisory Board Member and Research Fellow of the Society of New Communications Research (SNCR). SNCR is a nonprofit 501c3 organization think tank dedicated to the advanced study of new media and emerging modes of communication and their effect on media, business and society. SNCR's members are thought-leaders in their respective spaces.

I am, therefore, shamelessly plugging SNCR's inaugural Research Symposium and Awards Gala to be held 1-2 November, Boston, MA.

- Learn about social media initiatives and implementation best practices.
- Take part in determining SNCR's 2007 research agenda.
- Discuss, network and have fun with your peers, industry experts and the most notable thinkers and practitioners in the world of new communications.

On 1 November, join a special evening beginning with an elegant cocktail reception and silent auction benefiting SNCR, which will be followed by a dinner event wherein the winning case studies in the first SNCR Awards program will be announced.

On 2 November, the SNCR Research Symposium will feature its 2006 research findings through a number of panels, presentations and discussions. A draft specification for a new industry standard and the first Journal of New Communications Research will be unveiled.

Attend both days’ events for only $325 if you register online and use code NCR20 for a 20% savings. In addition, a special hotel room rate of $219 per night has been arranged for SNCR event attendees at the Colonnade Hotel. SNCR-blocked rooms are available for reservations made by 1 October. Call the hotel directly at 617.424.7000 or 800.962.3030 and mention the Society for New Communications Research Symposium.

For more information, contact Jen McClure, 650.331.0083. (Jen's unbounded energy and devotion keeps SNCR forward-moving.)

A limited number of exclusive event sponsorships are available.
